ABOUT US - THE FAIRYTALE OF HUS & ROOMS INC. / HARMONY

Once upon a time, in the frozen land of Finland, Hannele and Tommy's daughter Charlotte decided to go on a Rotary exchange to St. Catharines. Her parents visited her and loved the place. Being the adventurous Finns that they are, they decided to pack up their bags and move to Canada to start a lifestyle-store.

Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and put a wrench in their timeline, but these brave Scandinavians were not deterred and continued to plan and strategize despite the setback. To make this fairytale story short, jumping to early 2022, upon arriving, they got to work renovating their new space at 211 Martindale Road, unit B6. It was a dark and dreary space, which is everything you don't associate with Scandinavian design. But with open mind, coats of paint, and a lot of sweat, the space was transformed into a Scandinavian haven and the lifestyle-store HUS & ROOMS finally became a reality.

Fall 2024 brought an exciting new chapter for us - we had the incredible opportunity to open a store in the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and we were more than ready for the adventure - again! HARMONY Hygge Lifestyle found its home on Queen Street, just in time for Thanksgiving, while HUS & ROOMS in St. Catharines gracefully closed its doors at the end of the year. We are beyond thrilled to now bring cozy moments and hygge vibes with a Scandinavian twist to the prettiest village in Ontario. Visit HARMONY and experience the warmth and charm for yourself!
